Deborah L. Ward
President
With over 25 years of experience in Construction, Deborah oversees estimates submitted to Federal and State Government Contracting Offices as well as HLW Electric office staff and estimators. She's familiar with most safety and health requirements, including the requirements of the Davis Bacon Act.
Michael Ward
Vice President
Michael supervises Commercial and Industrial Project, for HLW Electric. He has extensive knowledge in the installation of fiber optic cable, computer facilities, PCB filled transformer removal and disposal; utilities site management, overhead electrical distribution and underground installations. He assumes functional responsibilities within the organization at project sites, and management of on-site field personnel as well as day to day communication with customers.
Harold L. Ward
Vice President
Harold is a Master Electrician holding licenses in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Florida. He has experience in the electrical trade with specific experience in: high voltage splicing: installation of poles and line work, overhead high voltage distribution systems, installation and supervisions of fiber optics cable, installation of computer facilities, installation of underground duct bank systems. He's responsible for the design/build aspect’s of a number of medium to large projects. He also served as an instructor for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Apprenticeship Program. Harold holds a General Contractor’s license in Montgomery County, Maryland and a Home Improvement license in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Mark A. Kaufmann
Estimator & Project Manager
Mark has filled many rolls within HLW, since starting with us in 1997, including Purchasing Agent, Estimator, and Project Manager. He has over 25 years of experience in the Electrical Trade; with 15 years in the field working on commercial, residential, and service work. Mark has extensive knowledge of field operations. He also brings years of experience in sales, working for a large supply company in the D.C. Metro Area.
